I am at my absolute happiest with a paintbrush in hand, whether I'm working out in the elements or in the quiet of my studio. As an English impressionist painter, my primary goal is to freeze a single, fleeting moment in time and invite the viewer to share in the pure joy of the creative process. I am deeply connected to nature, a bond that directly shapes my dramatic, colourful oil paintings of Britain's stunning land and seascapes.

Many of my larger studio pieces begin as en plein air studies, where I work directly from life to capture the true light, atmosphere, and lived experience of a place. However, my passion extends far beyond landscapes. I am a dedicated portrait artist and regular life-drawing practitioner who loves creating portraits that challenge the viewer. This fascination with the human form naturally led me to sculpture; working with live models, I sculpt stylized clay pieces designed to capture the unique essence of a pose. Each piece is kiln-fired and finished with custom painted effects. Driven by an obsession with space, colour, and light, I am constantly exploring new ways to evolve my skills and push my technique forward.
